Just thought I'd let you all know the Chook was a Winner for Dinner! I'm sure Shannon enjoyed the Coopers as well.
I've set up the blog and added some starter categories but ones will naturally arise.
It would be a natural venue for Andrew's suggestion about sharing our 'Best Practice' in relation to Catholic Identity. Cheers. S

St Francis de Sales College – Heart Badges
At St Francis de Sales College we have a tradition of presenting to all who are new to our community, students and staff, a “heart badge” at a special commissioning liturgy and assembly at the beginning of each year. This is based on the writing of St Francis de Sales who said that the work of God is most vibrant when ”heart speaks to heart”. As a Catholic school that has been in Mount Barker for 113 years, with a number of influences including Sisters of Mercy and St Joseph in our history it is important that we honour each of these as well as our patron Saint – Francis de Sales. As a result we have seven ‘heart values’ with 2014 being the year of Compassion. Our heart badges are worn with pride by our community and represent our link to generations past and our optimism for the future as a Catholic community.
